More arm assembly

I have started to to wire up the arm wands with the copper litz wire that is sold on the eBay store,  this is the same wire that is used on all the prototypes and first production model of the Clear Wave tonearm.  It works very well for uni-pivots because its extremely thin and light weight.

Due to the nature of it being so delicate and thin it was decided to insulate it with very thin walled PTFE tube at the head shell, this gives the user more control and flexibility when installing the cartridge.

The wire is tinned with a solder pot, this makes a huge difference.

With the need to electrically bond the body of the arm wand to the cables shield it was important to make this as easy and reliable as possible when assembling.

This will also make for easier future servicing and re-wires when necessary.

Slight Redesign of Bias Arm

Recognizing the need for a slight improvement, we've completely redesigned our anti-skate mechanism. While its core function remains consistent, this new design focuses on enhancing performance and reliability, as well as improving manufacturability and serviceability.

All the manufacturing of new these parts is now complete so we are now moving all the focus on to the user manual and retail packaging.

We hope this will be ready in the next month or so. 🎊

Production photography

I have started to take some photos of the arm and its accessories to put in the user manual,  I used a simple light box with a LED ring light.

The last two images show the custom spacers and screws that are used to install the arm to a standard Linn arm board.
